FAQ - Cosipillows

An infrared heating element is incorporated in a Cosi heat cushion. The pillow heats your body directly. As a result, no heat gets lost in the (outside) air. With the eco-friendly Cosipillows you save heat, meaning you don't have to turn up the thermostat as high at home.

Fully charge the battery with the supplied charger before first use. The light on the charger will be red when the battery is being charged. If the light is green, the battery is fully charged and ready to use. Unplug the charger when the battery is fully charged.

Open the cushion's zipper and connect the battery with the cable from the control panel. Then place the battery in the battery compartment of the inner cushion. The Cosipillow is now ready for use.

Switch on the heater by pressing the control panel for at least 3 seconds. The heating element is switched on when the control panel light comes on. After switching it on, three indicator bars will light up:
 

• 1 indicator bar: temperature +/- 38◦C
• 2 indicator bars: temperature +/- 45◦C
• 3 indicator bars: temperature +/- 50◦C

 

The actual temperature depends on the ambient temperature. To switch off the Cosipillow: press the control panel for 3 seconds until all the lights go out.

Are you not using the Cosipillow for a longer period? Always disconnect the battery.

Yes, the heating cushions are made of high-quality Sunbrella fabric. This UV and mould-resistant material is suitable for indoor and outdoor use. In addition, all Cosi products are CE marked and KIWA/GASTEC certified. With this, Cosi puts your safety first.

The cushion covers of the Cosipillows can be washed. Turn off the cushion and remove the cushion cover from the inner cushion. Store the inner cushion including all its parts in a dry place. The inner cushion and the infrared heating element must not get wet and cannot be washed. Wash the cushion cover according to the washing instructions on the label behind the zipper.

It is possible that the battery is not properly connected to the charger and therefore not charged. First, check if the battery is properly connected to the charger by pressing the point of connection firmly together. Then try charging it again. The charger's light will turn red when the battery is charging and green when the battery is fully charged.

If the battery is still not charged after this second attempt, please contact the store where you purchased the Cosipillow. If you bought the Cosipillow directly from us, please contact us via our contact form.

Check if the battery is charged and connected properly to the control panel cable. Press the control panel for 3 seconds. The lights should come on.

Do both the lights and the heat function of the cushion remain off? Then there might be something wrong with the cushion's battery. If only the lights stay off and the heat function does switch on, there might be something wrong with the lights in the control panel. In both cases, it is best to contact the store where you purchased the Cosipillow. If you bought the Cosipillow directly from us, please contact us via our contact form.

The battery might run down after a while. Is the battery not working properly anymore? Then it is possible to replace it with a new one. Only use the original Cosipillow battery. The use of any other battery may cause damage to the Cosipillow or other objects or injury to persons.

With the Cosipillow you can choose from 3 heat settings. Select the settings low 38°C, mid 45°C and high 55°C with the heat button on the cushion*. In the same way, you can adjust the temperature when you are warmed up. Activate the infrared heating element and enjoy the warmth!

*The actual temperature depends on the ambient temperature.

The Cosipillow is equipped with a battery pack. You can easily charge it with the charger supplied.

When the battery is empty, it takes about 3 hours to recharge. Depending on the heat setting, a Cosipillow can last up to 5 hours on a full battery.

The duration of use depends on the chosen heat setting. When using the heating cushion at its lowest heat setting (+/-38°C), the battery lasts an average of 5 hours. When using the highest heat setting (+/-50°C), the average time is 2 hours.

Make sure to switch on the cushion by pressing the control panel for 3 seconds until it switches on and select the desired heat setting.

Do the control panel lights stay off? If so, the battery may not be properly connected to the control panel cable in the cushion, which prevents the cushion from turning on. Open the zip on the cushion cover and check if the battery is properly connected to the heating element by pressing the connection firmly. Try to turn on the cushion again.
